A quick word
Hello and welcome to my site! My name is Kat and I'm a freelance illustrator. In 2007 I graduated from the Columbus College of Art & Design and since graduating I've been taking numerous freelance projects and slowly building a client base. This site is dedicated to art I create in my free time as well as the preliminary work for a comic my fiance and I are working on. Newest Art on the Site!
This is the second illustration in the 'Deity' series. This one features Bluu in the aspect of 'Mercy.' The color work and styling is much more gentle then the first in the series.

This illustration is the first in a short series. The series is inspired by another artist I found on Deviantart known as hellobaby. Their art is fantastically detailed and soft so I thought I'd give their technique a try. I plan on doing four more images to complete the series. The basis of the series is to show the characters in the aspects of deities. This particular image is Drake in the aspect of 'Battle.' EDIT! This is a NEW version of the piece. I wasn't happy with the color work and felt the lighter colors, though matching to the second piece in the series, didn't fit the concept or the character. There are still a few issues with the image but I'm much happier with this version. |

October 14, 2009: Added a 'forum' section, merged the 'paintings' with the 'illustrations,' and added a new section, 'Pirates!' and 22 new pieces! Also added a new sketch to the sketchbook section as well.

July 17, 2009: Uploaded a new illustration to the 'illustrations' section.
July 10, 2009: Updated the links in the sidebar to give a better idea of what they go to/added a new link
July 2, 2009: Updated my pirate blogsite with lots of sketches, check it out! Blogspot - Sketches
June 21, 2009: Added a 'Links' section to the sidebar with a few links to sites of friends and people I admire. Hopefully will add some more links soon!
June 19, 2009: Added a new tab 'paintings.' Right now it only has two small watercolors. Also merged the 'cartoon' and the 'illustration' tabs together and took out the 'fan art' tab.
