http://bleucitrus.webs.com/apps/photos/ illustrations Three characters I've developed in the past 7 or so years. I did this piece as part of a challenge a friend of mine came up with. The idea was to depict your alter egos. These three characters all have both good and bad qualities some of which I've listed. The good ones are ones I might have but are a bit idealized or are ones i wish i had and the bad ones are ones I've had problems with myself. The leftmost girl is Ako, age 16. She's a character I created in 2003 during my freshman year of college. Ako is a white mage/healer and is genuinely sweet and innocent. She's also really naive though and is terrible at making choices. She puts others before herself to a fault and often ends up hurting those close to her by doing so. She's a good girl though and very magically skilled as well as being talented with animals. The girl at the top is Miggly Mao the magical girl, age 13. I came up with her in 2006 and she is what I like to term a 'prince character.' By which I mean she's steadfast, true, courageous, and strong. However she can sometimes be cold and rash. She fights against injustice but can be cruel or thoughtless to those around her without realizing it. And last, but not least, is Bluu my pirate character. Bluu is the 22 year old galley chef on the Sea Minket and is very caring and sweet. Her biggest flaws are that she bottles up her own emotions and has little to no self-confidence. She can also be very shy. She never feels good enough at anything and generally strives to be better for those around her.
